Why we started
In Dar es Salaam, staying fit usually means choosing one gym and hoping it fits your week. Work moves you across the city, traffic decides your evening, and a membership near home is no use near the office. Gym owners face the opposite problem: busy at 6 am and 6 pm, empty in between, and paid mostly in cash.
I spent years building digital financial services and saw how mobile money changed what people expect: pay from your phone, instantly, anywhere. FitFlex Africa brings that to fitness. One pass, paid by M-Pesa, Airtel Money or Selcom, opens doors at partner gyms across Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar, and every visit is counted and paid to the gym.
We are building it here, in Kiswahili and English, with the gyms and trainers who already make our neighbourhoods stronger.
